and I will check it out
Had 4 wheel alignment done at Tweeks when I had the springs fitted and wheels balanced (sp) when the new wheels/tyres were fitted .. I am going to be fitting new pads, hoses and fluid etc for the track day so I will try that first and then go from there .. just seems strange that it didn't do it before I went on my hols but now it does

See near the end when under hard breaking the car gets a little out of control but a quick turn of the wheel pulls it back in.

If it's only the odd time it happens it's fairly likey it's the road surface or slight tyre presure difference causing it to tramline. If it happens every time you are breaking then something else. Should of picked up on the fact you said you've been away earlier, if it's been left standing fair chance that a caliper is seizing. Like you said though, it'll be fine.

Mine did it when new pads went on, have you tried bedding them in. It can be done any time. I can if I want take my hands off wheel while breaking and it doesnt budge. It was shocking before I broke them in though, I was struggling to keep steering straight.

try it again on a completely flat surface mate. like ali said. it could be a sticking calliper, i had one recently and that's what was happening for me, albeit it was a lot more pronounced. lol
if you're going to get renault to check it out, do so before you fit the new parts...any excuse to refuse a warranty pay-out eh.

Sounds like a seized caliper to me . One is braking harder than the other causing it to pull to one side . Get it on a flat car park with no camber and brake hard a few times with your hands off the steering wheel , if its seized it'll wobble the steering wheel .
Not that hard of a problem to fix , pop the piston outta the caliper , grease it and put it back in and grease the 2 sliders as well , should fix it .A good opportunity to get the pads , fluid and hoses on if your gonna grease inside the caliper .
