Pulsing lights on idle

Noticed recently that all my lights are pulsing on idle including the window motors also pulsing when putting the window up. Everything stops pulsing when about 2k rpm is reached.

Is this likely to just be the alternator needing replaced or is there anything to check/clean/replace first?

It could be that, could be a dodgy earth or a dodgy alt connector. Check the voltage then te alt connector then earths IMO.

Hey jamie. It certainly sounds like a earth issue. Have u tried the windows with the ign on but not started?

The windows aren't pulsing when using them with the ignition, just tried it the now!

As above jamie, Check the earth straps and clean them up with some emery paper to see if that helps.

If not check the alternator
