Putting 172 alloys on a 1.2

yeah, see i thought about that, but some insurance companys can be b******s from some of the stories i heard

i havnt told mine about mine, if they ask there standard wheels or if need be i have my steels in the garden

if your insurance company are fine with the prorace 1.2's then they'l be fine with 172 wheels.

if you're not insured for the 1.2's and you get pulled over and they check, you'l be driving with no insurance and get a HORTI, speaking from experience.

i'd declare the 1.2's but the 172 wheels arn't too far from standard so....

never declared the 1.2's, only had them on for a bit cus i knew if i got caught - license gone, not worth it

Technically you should declare them, as they are not standard. Its your choice if you do or not though. Not declaring the 1.2s though, thats silly

Pleading ignorance won't let you off, if anyone has un-declared mods & they crash, it is likely that the assessor will clock the mods, and the person is unlikely to be paid out.

As for you giving out insurance info, don't make me laugh.

The law says ignorance is not an excuse! So you would technically be driving uninsured!
