Putting standard gear knob back on

Right the situation for me is that i removed my standard gear knob last year, and replaced it with an aftermarket one.

Now i want to put a standard one back on.

Whats the best adhesive to stick the gear knob back on?

Which type?

Well I have to say, the one im putting back on, isn't the one i had orignally!

BUT BUT BUT!!!!!

The standard gear knob i removed to put an aftermarket one on, was removed successfully without sawing it off!!!!

(but my dad threw it in the bin )

The way i did it is, wedging a flat screw driver underneath the gear knob, doing a sort of pivot motion, increasing the gap that the hole of the ghear knob sits on.

and eventually pulling it off.

Took at least 1 hr! lol

but well worth it

My friends clio gearknob was falling off when we were driving and I happened to have some superglue I glued it back on and it never fell off again lol

Well seems as tho, no use of glue whatsover has done the job!

Its sitting perfectly and snuggly at the mo

You can, once u get the glue they use to stick the gear knob down with!!... its a pain in the arse!

But, weren't really 1 hr!!! bit of an exageration! lol... but i did give it 4 goes, as in tried once, then left it, for a few hours and tried again! etc!

Lol they arnt easy to remove ill give you that! What about if you get the fooker really hot with a heat gun? Ovi without damaging it.
