[R20 CWH]

have a fairly serious noise from the engine when you turn it over and then rev to around 1250 - 3000+ (if you want to) its very metallic and almost tapety have had 16vclio and Big Iain off here to hear it, very strange one

not sure if its the cat on the way out or what could be vibrating in the engine block as its quite raspy sound, the metallic sound has just developed in the past 2 days

any help?

Hi spoke to my mechanic bf, works for renault, he said it could be anything, a mechanic would have to hear it first then can judge whats wrong.

hmm spose thats fair enough sounds like its coming from the engine block its booked in for the mora and been sitting untouched all day - how gash
