Question about lowering

  Clio RT MK 1
I want to lower my car a bit, not too much tho. What woould i need to do it? Is it possible to do it myself (i don't really know much about cars). How much would it cost for the stuff eg. springs? Where would i get them from? Do garages just do it for you & how much would that cost? How much should i lower it by, Im getting 15" turbines put on it soon hopefully. I want it to look like its been lowered, but not too much!

Sorry about all the questions....

Any help anyone???

Thanx in advance :)

  RB 200 Cup!
35mm is usually a good height to lower by.

Can get springs from pretty much anywhere - search the web.

Some garages charge quite a bit for lowering - obvosduly best to ring round for some quotes

I got my mate to do it first time round, but i reckon i could do it now.

So u can DIY jobby it urself i reckon.

Just make sure you clamp the springs!!

I wouldnt recommend it if you dont know much about cars, if your going to do it, have someone with you, because if you forget to clamp the springs or jack it up wrong then

You're fucked

I'd say there'll be more issues with the torsion bar tbh. Someone who's not very clued up with either not be able to free it off (usually rusted f**king solid) or end up not getting the back end level.
