question about springs

Hi probably been asked loads of times but was just wondering would I have to replace the shocks if i was to put 40mm springs on the car or could i just ride it with the originals?

Any help is appreciated

Shocks should be fine with this drop. Any further and you would need the full set up.

Mines on standard shocks at 40mm all round mate no problems to report
