*question* steering column fascia removal

  As father and son....

just replaced the satellite controls for my standard headunit on the clio, question is how do i remove the steering column plastic fascia to get at the wiring to thread it up into the satellite housing for it. the dollard before me decided to just throw it down the length of the steering column and be done with it.

any suggestions would be helpful, its a rather odd shaped fitting too almost looks like an 8-sided allan key :S

thanks in advance,
ed

yeah its a t20 star nut but you must take the steering wheel off first to get that bit off careful when pulling either off as there is some white tape in the indicator stalk bit, it likes to pop out.
t45 for the steering wheel mark on the column with tipex where it was

thanks jon. do you also know of any release switch/catch for the stalk controls for the radio? the guy at renault decided to shove it in the gap and now its proving difficult to move everything else around that obstruction. just popped down the road and got the tool you mention so thanks for that
