i went out in this today, i have been friends with the owner for around 5 years now and have never ever been out in it but heard it was a big deal. The car was taken to the nurburgring about 1 month and a half ago with some bad luck, it got with 50 miles and broke a weld on the turbo mounting plate, then whilst on the ring half way around a lap he blew the turbo....he was gutted...

well anyways the clio currently shares the unit with this thing and whilst down there working on it today the owner of these finally got round to fitting the new turbo, and then offered to take me out as it was "Currently Working"...lol

what more can i say, bloody hell this thing shifts, easily the quickest thing i think i have ever been in, not sure on exact figures but weight wise its deffo under 900kg and power wise its up around 330bhp, truly epic car

That must fly! My mates EP91 "only" has about 180bhp and made a 172 look like it was going backwards last time we had a play in it

Seen that before. nice car. I had a EP82 a while ago, was only standard but ran a low 15 1/4 mile. Great cars and sooo much fun to drive.

Yeah mate, 391bhp at the wheels. Not sure of flywheel though. Ran a 11.8 @ 131mph at the pod too! lol

  Whichever has fuel
This 350hp per tonne is all well and good, but whats the point if it blows up every other week??

my mate has a minted fresh import. proper pocket rocket even with his being around 200bhp. They are not the best handling cars though. They do like to understeer alot.

Awesome giant-killing ability, but they're fragile, even if you use top-end parts.

But I guess 280bhp/litre is the payoff. lol.

Here we go with the bad handling comments..i swear everyone just repeats what they once read. Mine handled well with some money spent. So have most the others ive been in. Standard theyre gash yes but so are alot of cars.

Sounds cool though mate. Ive been in a 270bhp one and that was batty. That made my old one feel sloooooow..lol

You complained about people saying they are bad at handling and then complained about it yourself. Plus i think if you modified the suspension on almost any small nimble car you could get them to handle well. Confusing post or what!?!

An old guy down my road owned one of these and it was an amazing little car.

Search every thread on CS about starlets and every one of them says even when modded the Starlet/Glanza doesnt handle well because of the suspension set up. I have said as standard they dont but can be good when modded..and thats from experience.
