182 Cup & DCi 172
Well after a week or 2 since its last clean and going over the Moors yesterday I really needed to clean the car.
The car has already been waxed twice and sealed using Dodo Juice Bananarmour and Black Hole. Was planning on doing another layer today but unfortunately rain looked likely so was only left enough time to wash the car.
Products used:
- Wax friendly snow foam through my Snow foam lance (name eludes me)
- Dodo Juice Basics of Bling Wax Safe Shampoo using 2 bucket method
- Lambs wool wash mitt
- Poorboys Waffle drying towel
- Autoglym tyre dressing
- Autoglym wheel seal
Also got the inside spotless but forgot to take any pictures.
As the car started:
First up was the snow foam - however I didn't realise I only had a tiny amount left so it was very watery rather than foamy:
Rinsed off:
Next up cleaning it using the Wax Safe shampoo, cleaned the wheels with a separate wash mitt and the calipers with a brush:
Rinsed and beading lovely:
Exhausts cleaned with Autosol and pad:
Dried off with a Poorboys waffle towel, wheels sealed with Autoglym sealant and tyres dressed with Autoglym via a brush:
Its no where near a proper detail but think it looks pretty decent.
I also need some new wax safe snowfoam if anyone has any suggestions? The bottle I got mine in got smashed so was just put into a plain bottle and I never thought to make a note of the name.
