Quick Detailler Queston

I know this will sound stupid , but everyone has to start somewhere eh!
ive used the search facility and all i get its loads of threads with the word detailler in !

what exactly is quick detailler, and what will i benefit by using it, i have recdently got into this cleaning lark, but having a black car, im not a fan of cleaning it every week only for it to be mucky 2 days later!

From my understanding, quick detailer is something to be used between proper details ie. polishing, sealing and waxing etc.

Theres no way around having your car dirty after cleaning it, thats life But you dont need to do a proper detail every week either!

I do a fairly indepth detail on my car every 2ish months, and wash it normally between these, as the wax is still protecting the car

yeah that generally what i do, do th emajo rstuff every few months and justr clean once a week, only cos i have developed a bit of OCD !!! lol

lol. QD is a lubricant really, Anti static in some cases. Basically to be used to get small amounts of dust/ crap/ water marks off the paint. Can be used with clay, or for drying etc. You can make it yourself if your good. Mines from a chemist and it's as good as any of the other stuff i've bought.

sounds like i could do with some then! i hate water marks, and this would save me a lot of time.
