Quick Insurance Question

i just wondered if i get a quote online and enter the car reg number, does it take into account that the reg enter is a cat d? i.e. is thensurance quotevad

bascally i have found a 172 for sale, cat d and usd the licence plate to get a quote togaue how much it would be.

If the catagory D is recorded then im pretty sure it will come up when the insurers typed in the number plate.

If un recorded then they wouldnt know.

No it doesnt, well it didnt one time I tried with a cat d, they're not that much of a complex system, just brings up car details etc

I could be wrong though, thats just my experience
