Quick one for fellow import owners

Just a quick question for you if someone can help me out, is the stamp you get in the front of your warranty book (for example mines stamped with a dealership in france) the same place as it was imported from??

I guessed mine was imported from france hence the stamp.. but renault seem to think it was imported from belgium, before i tell them there a bunch of useless t**ts i thought id make sure i was right

I think thats the dealer who sold the car to the importer, then its upto them where they import it from I think.

Mines from Holland but imported via Ireland by Reg Vardy..........I had hassels from Ren UK coz mine had no stamp....some people r never happy...

when we took our 03 reg in for some minor stuff doing they didnt even ask to see the book at all!
