quick outlook question

hey

see in outlook, is there any way of either getting a new mail desktop alert or envalope in the sytem tray to display, when an email arrives in a sub folder in your inbox?

Doesn't it do that automatically?

Can't quite remember (stopped using it and got Thunderbird instead)

I think there's an option to turn alerts on or something like that, and that you get the envelope to show up.

Depends what version. It used to to it pre outlook 2003 now it shows a thing in the bottom corner for a couple of seconds. Don't think its possible to do now.

Ahh. Not seen the 2003 version, so I wouldn't know.
