Quick one , mrs 172 (03) has cruise control and I'm breaking the car , can I swap ecu uch keys switches etc and fit them to my Clio 172 (51) , is it worth it or not guys ?

You don't need to swap any of that.

Clutch switch.

I would but I'm battling myself a bit . I may never use it but will it add value to the car ? Or should I sell it , not 100% how much it's all worth to be honest .

If you do a lot of motorway miles then yeh it's worth it. If not I wouldn't bother.

I do think it's quite handy. Now and then I do some motorway miles and then I'm really glad I have it. Also retrofitted it because my 172 didn't have it.
I didn't bother with the clutch switch though. It works without it anyway, also when pressing the clutch.

And it's dead easy to fit. Take off wheel, change squib, put on other wheel. Take off panel, put in other panel with switch. Done. There's also a guide on here to explain everything in detail. Also I think it won't hurt having an extra like that when selling the car again.

We have it retrofitted to our 172, thanks to Danlp6 as I didnt know it was so simple to do, nice little addition IMHO.

TBH I dont even know if the wiring will be there. I cant see why it wouldn't. It may not be set up in the ECU/UCH like it is in the 172's. which it may just need some config on the uch side.
