Quick question, (RT vs 206LX)

hey, my mate has just picked up his W reg 206, 1.4 8v LX. he is convinced it is faster than my RT, and just wondered if this is the case? surely there cant be that much difference between the two? He also said it is a lot lighter than the clio, and i wasnt going to argue, as i wasnt sure!

Or if anyone knows where i could get the performance figures, that wouls be great!

well i beat a 1.6 8v with a straight thru exhaust the other day in my RT, so i would have thought so

Top speed - 107mph.

Not sure on your clio though!

I think 0-60 for the rt is 11.1 and also it has 75bhp iirc. Im not too sure about the weight of it though.

what phase is your clio, the phase 1 and 2 was 80bhp, but the phase 3 is 75bhp, either way ull beat hime cos clio 75bhp vs the weight of a 75bhp 206 doesnt equalize, if u got a 80bhp RT ull beat him nicly then with exhaust, maybe a de-cat ull whip his ass.

yeah its a phase2, got a cat back exhaust, and is gettin a pipercross replacement filter tomorrow. dont think i will get a decat, its loud enough!
