is there any software out there - that can find out were/what sites you visit if on a network??

ie - BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU??


Obviously someone can check your machine but i wanted to know if there was any software they can either put on to your machine or put on there machine to check your internet travels

Yes.

If your on a network, first thing that I would say is the proxy.

we use scansafe to watch what people are doing

if your on a company network for example.. they will know exactly what your doing.. the best thing you could do would be change your DNS servers to publick ones (not teh companies) and use an SSL proxy so even the data transfered will be encrypted.

Bosses at my place are uber paraniod, we run a proxy appliance, and then it goes through scansafe.
