quick reply please: front jacking points

please can someone tell me where i can jack my mark 1 clio at the front? weve tried jacking the bit of the subframe under the radiator but it seemed to be bending quite a bit!

I use the box section running under the seats with a bit of wood on top of the jack, there is a spot just in from the actual Reno jacking point which Nick Hill uses but you need a reno tool to use it, or just make one! Square bit of metal.

thanks for that, turns out the car is gonna have to have a visit to renault at some point soon to get this fixed.

basically what it is, one of the straps which holds the exhaust up has broken, so the exhaust is drooping quite significantly and there is a hole in the join between the cat and the pipe between cat & silencer.

it would have been better anyway if id been able to borrow my friends ramps but he wasnt around today

yet more expense!
