Quick Simple Question

Okay I have a head unit which has RCA leads going to an amp, this amp will be powering my front components, the amp also has an RCA out which will be going to the amp for my sub, will I have to set as rear out or sub out on my head unit?

Hows the best way to configure this?

Does your headunit ONLY have the one output??

this set up you have will work, but it is designed for headunits with only one output,
and you will have very little control over the amps from the headunit. (just volume and L/R balance)

you will not be able to set the sub out or any other outs on your headunit.

you will just have to set the amps up properly for the first time, and then resort to lowering the bass in the EQ if you want to turn down the sub!

does your headunit have a sub out, as well as a rear out??
if so, just take the RCA's from the sub amp, straight to the headunit, giving you control!
