quick tyre question

quick question ive got 14" wheels with skinny 155 tyres on, wondering if you can go up a width or two, ie to 175, or would the wheel have none of it?

Surely then the tyre would be too wide for the wheel and just wouldnt fit... or am i missing something?

it will go no problem just dont go any bigger i have done this for lots of customers as i work for kwik fit

sound cheers for the advice 205s it is then - 175s will do the trick me thinks
