Quickest (1.8) valver on this site

  megane coupe F7R

mailto:15.85sec@86.1mph">15.85sec@86.1mph- 1/4mile...0-60=7.21sec according to my gtech gadget. Supposed to be quite accurate so i will go by that. It was pretty consistant.

What are you basing this on 1/4 mile times or power claims?
Anything that can be backed up so either! Ideally would like to know what power/times people get against what mods they have.

^^ lol.

u33db, the task is to beat my 15.2 then pal! that was on 16s on hottest day of summer last year so i reckon u should do ok!

Decated, straight-though exhaust, replacement filter in airbox, cams, HP chip and hopefully will have the PAS removed in time...also had it rebuilt about 20k ago. 1/4 mile is at Crail which im told isnt the most accurate (?) but im hopefull for a good time all the same - going by the weather up here itll be about 2 degree which should help! lol

Ive ran a 15.5 @87, Snufty that terminal sounds way too fast for a standard valver!

Anyways, im going for a 15.2, need a few bits sorting first like camber etc

Im not allowing myself a 2ltr till ive matched Craigs time in the 1.8, lol!

lol...but craig did have cams and a fresh rebuild didnt u pal?

Also didnt u have lightened and balanced bottom end and a few other bits, not to mention stripped out interior?

yeah the engine had, cams and a rebuilt balanced bottom end!

i had leather interior but took the rears out and parcel shelf and spare wheel for that day! i did have 16s on, and it was 30 degrees tho! maybe at york in the colder weather it would have maybe run a bit better.

the engine also needed cams timing and mapping as it was on standard cam timing and standard ecu.

the lad who bought it off me had the cams timed and it FLEW apparently! not sure if he is planning on getting it up the strip or not!
