Quinn Direct Insurance

  1999 Clio RN 1.2
Does anyone know what they class as "Class 1 Modifications"?

I have a policy that says i'm covered with these...also they were cheap as im only 17 and it was only £900.

Any help would be appreciated...

I've been with Quinn Direct for 5 years now :approve:

Cheapest quotes around (for me anyhow) and no change to the premium for any mods :) lots done to my car, just to give you an idea.

For suspension or engine mods, they do require an engineers report form(they will post this out).
It must be filled out by a registered mechanic or garage to verify that the car is legally fit for the road.

Hope this helps

I phoned Quinn direct today and they would not quote me saying they have stopped covering 182's now.:S

They always told me (I asked at every oppurtunity) that they won't insure a 172 - for anyone of any age
Also states on their website they don't cover sports cars, vans and 4x4's.

Strangely enough, a mate from near Belfast (also a CS member) bought a 172, rang them up and told them it was sitting on his drive and they offered him a quote :star:

My best quote was from Greenlight in January - £670 fully comp with 4 years NCB (I'm 24)

I have 5 years NCB now, so strange - exactly this time 5 years ago I was ringing around for my first quote :)
