R-Sport Chip (172/182)

Just a quick question.... my brother had a 172 cup which before he sold he took his R-Sport chip out... would i be able to get it re-mapped to put in my 182 cup???? just thinking of saving some money this way.... cheers in advance for any advice...

You'd need the whole ecu reampped which is a bit of a waste realy IMO. You might as well remap the ECU in the car already.
The ECU won't run on your car though without sending to someone to clear its memory as once its used on a car it remembers that cars imobiliuser settings so can only be used for that car.

so i might aswell just get a new chip then yeah??? he got it from R-Sport think it was like 250 fitted or something..

You could try Mike at Rentech. I'm sure he's done this before for someone.

you can reset the rsport ecu so you can use it on every other Clio Sport.
www.fastchip.nl does this for 125 euro
