r sport parts for clio cup

Hi im new here and have just sold my 306 rallye and want to get a clio cup,the only thing im waiting for are the talked about r sport parts for the car,seats roll cage engine mods etc.Does anyone know if they will ever appear?This will have an effect on whether I buy a cup or not as I plan to use it for track days.Thanks for any help.

I have looked into this matter for others and to date there doesnt appear to be any listings for these CUP goodies from Renault.

As soon as I find out more info, I will post it here.

You might want to check with Renaultsport for the Cup bits. They (Renaultsport in Dieppe) have what they are calling a ClioRSRagnotti and it is basically a Grp N rally car which would have all the bits. I just heard from them and they sent an xls doc with all the information. Trouble is I dont have Excel here so I cant give you all the details. It only took me two months to get this far!

I just checked the properties on the xls file I got from Renaultsport. It was written on 20 March so it is pretty recent. Mayb we have a scoop here...

Anybody with Excel who wants to open it and get the info out ther for us?

Yeah its just the name as Cup means nothing over there, we have racing series called it.

Renault sport and R sport are completely different, R sport has factory approved stuff, renault sport would be all group n stuff so wouldnt be covered on warranty and probably completely inpractical for road use!

Apologies to all you guys who were waiting for the file. I hadnt looked at this thread in a while and sent it out to those of you who PMed me but didnt see the other posts.

As you can see the stuff exists but we still dont have all the answers. I expect my ctalogues to arrive this week sometime.

RENAULTsport Should look at the VW site to see how to offer their special bits. The VW Polo catalogue is online!

But what exactly was the R-Sport stuff supposed to be? Some seats and a roll cage and no doubt a bit of carbon effect dash trim? I dont see what the big deal is...if the R-Sport ECU is out then just use that or one out of a crashed 182 (there must be some around by now!) along with a better exhaust and air filter, then get a normal Clio roll cage which just about every manufacturer makes, then get some seats from whoever you want, Cobra, Recaro, doesnt really matter. Why dream about official mods when youve been able to buy all this stuff for years and do up your Cup yourself? And a lot cheaper than Renault gear will be as well.
