Had a problem with the car over the last couple of weeks, was very intermittent....i.e hardly every happened. Basically the car spluttered and power was cut on/off/on/off when accellerating (made for interesting overtaking! lol). Recently it got worse and on one occasion it took me a couple of attempts to start the car and then this morning it wouldnt start at all!!!
I tried a number of things to try and fix it but in the end called the AA man who had ago but no success. Long story short; I ended up getting towed to GDI as I wasnt too far away and Andy managed to locate the problem and fix it within 10mins flat!!! (shame he couldnt tell me over the phone
lol) Now thats service! Cheers Andy .
By the way it was the MAP (Manifold Air Pressure) Sensor that was causing the problem, basically the connections a bit s**t. So along with all the other problems (temp sensor etc) this is definately one to look out for! Could save you alot of hassle. Simply pull out the connector and check the pins are making contact properly!

Couldn't get it on the new truck but got on the old one just about;
