radiator bleeding?

  trophy #134
hey, ive been having a problem with my car overheating, it's a mk 2 clio 1.4 16v, it dosent really do it when the heaters are on in the car but after a while it does start to get hotter and hotter,

so i took it to a friend whos a mechanic but never does work on renaults really, after changing the thermostat housing and thermos it's still doing it and dosent really seem to be bleeding up, when weve taken the cap off the bleed nipple, its spitting out and not in a stream like it should do.

so to say the least were stumped

any ideas anyone?

nobody come across this then?

my mechanic said it might be the water pump, but you need to take cam belt or something off because its behind it and thn it will need the timing redoing and will end up resulting in a good few hours work :(

Its not difficult to bleed the system has he ever done it before?

might be the pump but sounds more like its not being bled properly.
