Radio Stalk controls

Hi,

I've done a search and I can't find anything to help me.

My steering wheel radio stalk has stopped worked. It's been loose and kept falling out of it's hole for a while but today it's just stopped working completely. I checked the wires and they seem fine. None of the buttons are working.

Where is the fuse for this? I mean, I know WHERE the fuses are, but is it covered in the radio/cigarette lighter/clock fuse? The radio, cigarette light and clock are all working fine....

Any help please???

did you check the connection to the stalk end ? or the radio end ? ie is there 2 connections, one by the stereo and 1 by the controls

I checked the stalk end, just did a chick check before I looked on

if its been loose etc, sounds like you might have pulled the wires from inside a little.

that fuse also controls the interior light, the dash clock and the switched live for the radio itself so you would know if its a fuse
i'd say its a broken wire
if you do end up changing it, have fun getting the lead for it up in to the top of the dash lol

Haven't been able to get on here since yesterday. When I went back out in my car after posting my last post, the stalk was working fine again.....weird!
