Radio to aerial lead?

How big of a job is it to replace the lead that runs from the back of the radio to the aerial base?
I have no radio reception at all and the plug on the end of the lead for the radio is all chewed up.
I have tried to crimp it back on but just falls off when I push head unit into place as its so loose!
