I've not long bought a 54 plate clio and I was trying to find the code for it but now all that comes up is error what do I do?

Leave it turned on until it displays 0000 again.

It's the amount of time not whether it's been driven or not, I've known some that've had to be left for 24 hours with ignition on parked in garage with a trickle charger fitted.

As above, radio needs to be left on. Has a system where the more times an incorrect code has been put in the longer you have to wait.

Yea I've just got to wait for my brother to get back with the keys/pins so I can change it

Who needs keys I just used to use two small Allen keys in the holes, lever it out one side and wedge it out then do same on other side then remove
