Random hazard prob

Yup, had my first prob today with my 04 Clio... When going down my drive I always flash the hazards to my Mum whos waving out the window hehe. Went to turn them off, but nothing happened. Switch just wouldnt turn off Wasnt staying in when I released it.... Didnt wanna spend all my time driving around with hazards on, or leave it when them continuously flashing, so off to the dealer it was.... People were flashing me like mad lol. Obv thought I was oblivious to my flashing Clio... I kept hammering it to turn it off, and guess what... just as I was nearing the dealer, they turned off, and the switch seemed to fix itself. Blooming typical!! Anyway, took it in seeing as I was there (Hylton Renault - Worcester) and they looked at it straight away for me Got to go back in a few days to have a new switch fitted to it.

Anyone else had this happen to them? Also had a small prob about 2 mths ago, in which the rear wiper went continuously, and wouldnt stop when u turned the switch to off position... That cleared up asap too, and as yet hasnt come back.....

Strange... Maybe the car just didnt want to go to the meeting I was meant to go to today hehe.

least its sorted till something else goes mad, just hope it aint the windscreen washers, or the horn that doesnt stop lol

Ive had this before, the hazard switch comes out of its mounts on the black panel thats fitted in the dash.

Simply prize it off and re-clip the hazard switch into the mounts and itll be fine.

Mine had the reverse effect recently when I could not put my hazards on!
