random question about the gearstick..

Hey guys, just wandering if its correct that the gearstick moves back and forward slightly when in gear... i dont mean when letting on and off the power i just mean when its still and off or with the clutch in you can just move it up and down... in second and first more than others really ?

anyway of stopping it ? is there a bush that could of worn or something, or is it just a common clio thing..

That happens on mine as well, i assume its normal.

yeah its normal, does it with all clios

Mine moves more in gear than my old Civic did across the whole box. Find it a bit disconcerting sometimes, but not there's much can be done (unless someone knows differently).

Same with mine... it's a lil annoying but normal
