Random three plugging + emissions light + backfire

As above....very randomly i have problem where ill start the car and it'll tick over at very low revs and try and cut out like it three plugging ....ill have to rev it before it dies.

Ive had the plugs checked and was told they are fine.


This has only happened since i replaced the map sensor as per this thread:

I also get a random backfire and the emissions light will be on for a week off for a day and then it'll return.


Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be at all from them symptoms ?
