I'm now preparing the rear bumper for his appointment with the spayer ;) (scheduled for monday )
Already removed if you watch the pix closely.

  Liquid Yellow 182 FF
Looks very nice! Love the F1's.

Is your front bumper a slightly different colour yellow??

  MX5 NC 2.0 Sport
there is some small color discoleration thats correct, 99/100 none metallic colors on cars will have the same issue.
Thats because plastic/fiber reacts different to the paint than metal/aluminium/etc. ;)

Well that's ruined.

Edit: Thank the Lord you got rid of those wolfrace 17s. I'll let you off with the 16's as they are OZ F1's.

Wanted to put the 15mm spacers on the back to give it a more wide/agressive look.
For this to work the back had to be rolled and i had to do allot of tweaking on the rear bumper.
But finally it fitted without rubbing and lowered it another cm :D

The f1's are sold and are on a phase 2 172 ;).
and Paul these are 16" to ;)

We just got different taste, ill take a new pic tomorrow these alloys look real real nice on the sunflower
The picture's above don't realy do the alloy's justice, a pic from a distance will make it allot better :D

Went to Belgium for the easter, and gave the clio a go in the ardens :race:
Wow these cars are insane they drive and stick so damn good, its a shame we don't have these roads in holland (probably a good thing to ;) )

I went on a small drive with my father, he almost skit his pants first time he got a chance to experience it in this enviroment.

Some pics for you guys, sunflower in his natural habitat :

Forgot to mention that i also picked up some hardened engine mounts (there standard but the previous owner filled them with poly utherane ).
This wil hopefully stop the engine from the dreaded knocking under hard acceleration.
I replaced the dogbone with powerflex rubbers a few weeks back wich made it allot better, but it is still there so i hope this will get ridd of it all :D

Just scored a rs-tuner for a bargain price, so the sunflower is going to be even faster
And finally a set of phase 2 silver door handels ...... been after these for months.

Well time for an other update.

This time the audio got a major overhaul.
But as you probably now by now i am realy realy precise so gave myself these guidelines.

- Enough bass without the need of a subwoofer
- Keep as much loading space as possible (its still a small car  )
- weight of the stuff as low as possible
- Very high-quality build (a doubt = not good enough)
- Stealth, not able to see from the outside
- Use the cabling from within the doors for the woofers (no drilling).

As allot of this stuff came from my prior car so not much had to be bought.

Setup :

Rockford Fosgate T162S Compo Set (High-End)
Rockford Fosgate Punch P400-4 Amp (High-End)
Lanzar DC54 Woofers (High-End)
Cabling/acc. : Kicker/Dietz/Necom/Audisson
Car Stereo: JVC KD-R901

Here are the pix from the install, took me a total of about 30-35 hours but i'm very very pleased with how it turned out.
Everything has been tuned now, time to enjoy the sound while driving.

I placed the filters in the storage bin under the passenger seat.

This is how it looks now

High Quality cable and battery plug with build in fuse
Cable goes under the car to have less interference

Today i matched the inlets in the manifold.
Removing the manifold was a real real pain in the ass but it was worth it ;)

Well time for an update, been a while :D
Allot of you guys will like this ---> The OZ 16" are back
Somehow i think these suit the car more than the other ones i had, and especially in antracite ... :D
Got hold of another set, these are not the special ones for renault but the normal (universal) ones.
They where realy damaged (by previous owner=woman) due to living in Amsterdam and parking against the stupid curbs..........

These on the other hand got some nice extra's, came with original OZ spacers (20mm) to increase ET to 17 instead of 37.
For the front this is no problem but for the back im going to stick with the 15mm's.
I brought these to a powdercoater and picked them up yesterday = transformed them into this :

Im going to install some cambershims on the back and mount the wheels this weekend.
So more in a few days

Unfortunately during the mounting of the camber shims (i will make some new pictures of that later) i came across
2 issues. First is the left cv joint is broken needs replacing. And the second, the right Raceland fron coilover is leaking like a b*tch.
