Raspberry Pi

I have been looking into Pi's over the past few days. I am thinking of making a media and sat nav centre for a car, which would be additional to the existing stereo which would be ideal to modernise older cars. I have found a power supply which auto boots up and shuts down with the car's ignition, I would then use a 7" touch screen and probably a decent sized USB memory stick to store all the media on.
Has anyone come across a mouse/controller/scroll-er along the lines the sort of thing used to control BMW i-drive/Audi MMI/etc? It would be used for basic functions such as scrolling through tracks, skipping, pause, etc
