Rattle can job

I was thinking of a new bonnet. Wanted a black one, but then i thought why not rattle can it the same black as my wheels. I know its not most peoples cuppa. But anyone done this? Read it in a few mags, mainly on shitty cars, but any clios?

touche, there on there way off... i pwomise :rasp: ( i presume the stripes were a referal to me)

  Listerine & Poledo
I presume you mean

"They're on their way off"

In which case, kind of, but it's also self-depreciating as mine came wtih 2-tone stripes when I got it, I'm just too scared to take them off in case someone's keyed something into the roof or bonnet :)

I hate to admit it but i put mine there myself so i know theres nothing underneeth! lol

Thanks for the sensible answer, hadn't thought about that, easily done? Or a case of getting it done by a pro?
its probs not that easy as its such a big serface area you'll get loads of air bubbles if not done properly.

  corsa D / 172 clio
i did a cup spoiler that was quite hard!

flat surfaces are quite easy really if tou get someone to hold the sheet of vinyl up off the surface whist you smooth it down

3m ni doc is is the best vinyl but ive heard of another one called "oracal" thats lets you push the air out without having to relift it if you google it im sure you will find it and its half the price of 3m ni doc

3m is approx £50 a meter where as the oracal is about £20-£25 a meter they come 1.2 meters wide which will do a clio bonnet easy mate
