rattle from glove compartment

the wee shelf under my glove compartment seems to be kinda squeaking, it stops when i lean on it, anyone know how to stop this, aprt from me having to lean on it all the time,

I had the same problem with my old 97 Clio S, drove me mad but I sold it before I could fix it.

You could try taking it off and putting some sponge pads on the fixings to see if that helps.

ive noticed the screw fixings are funny shapped hexagonal numbers, how do you remove these?

Dont mean to sound sarcastic but you need a funny shaped hexaganol screwdriver. Seriously, you should be able to get one from Halfords or something I would think. I had one in a screwdriver set I was given.

tightened all the bolts no rattles, thats all it took, so simple
