Rattle gggrrrrr

has anyone had an annoying rattle coming from back left of the car

It sounds like it is coming from the back seat, but it could be the suspension as it only happens when i have a passenger in the front.

Oh it is well annoying (in a mk1 172 by the way)

How heavy is your passenger ? could be the wing mirror scraping on the road

Lol, no mate my wing mirrors are at the front of my car not the back!

seriously, it sounds like the exhaust may be hitting somewhere, heatshield or rear axle.

No not exhaust or rear axle as have had a new scorpion exhaust system put on and started before that, seems to stop when I pull the headrest of the rear left seat towards me, Not sure if that is because of a diff weight distribution though. I have put some gaffa tape around the clip thatthe back seat attaches to and that seems to have done the trick but will have to wait untill I have another passenger for the true test, lol

Rajk - sorry I cant make the meet even though I suggested it, am well gutted. Are you going to go to southend this saturday?
