Rattling back speakers

Car  Nissan 350Z
I notice if i play something like dance music, the bass causes the rear speakers to rattle. I presume this is the covers as I cant imagine its distorting considering the bass setting is on 0 and the volume is on 20. This is on a standard Clio 182 stereo system.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and managed to solve it, and if so, how?

its more than likely due to the standard speakers.

not sure about the 182's, but my 172 ones had paper cones which were awful.

how easy are they to change?

also any recommendations? A decent budget set as I havent got shed loads of money! LOL

I faded the sound to the front, say 70% front, 30% rear. Seems to have stopped the distortion/rattling now.
People say that rear speakers aren't required anywhere.

yeah my back speaker behind the passenger seat does that! really annoying. I put some cellotape on it for now :approve: works a treat!

Just did that, and as you say, it does seem to have stopped it now. In fact subjectively it seems like i can turn it up more now and it seems to sound a little better too.
