Broken down with aa/rac in attendance- hopefully nothing too serious!
Just before 6pm tonight.

This was me. First time being spotted in a long time!
Expensive day, had to join aa and pay for extended recovery.
Unfortunately could be terminal for the little car. Aux belt shredded and likely took the cammy with it
Gutted. Only had the belts done last year.

Up to a year it should be covered by the company that fitted in, unless something else failed on the belt system.

Even more annoyingly Renault dealers did them 13 months ago.

Take it straight to them to investigate and find the cause. If it's a faulty belt, tensioner etc I think you'll have good grounds for support from Renault UK.

Presumably they'd charge me several hours labour for investigation?

Problem is the car is now 120 miles from the dealer where the work was done.
