Finally fitted the last part of the front bumper the carbon brake ducts kit from Puretrack. Bumper was slightly deformed which made 1 side tricky but very impressed with them fitted

Car hasn't done many miles over winter but booked a trackday for last Sat at Brands to blow off the cobwebs my son who's 21 fancied coming along but recently sold his corrola tsport so rented a 182 from Puretrack Great day he loved the clio so much I think he's just agreed a deal on a track ready inferno. Looks like I'll be doing more trackdays with him now. Back to Brands on Feb 13th then onto Bedford March and Snetterton April.

Yes 4 seconds. I'm old and fat he's young and stupid.
To be fair he's a bloody good driver we e been doing some indoor karting and he's always top 10 of the week
Now we're looking for a 3rd Renaultsport he's after a 172/182 For himself

So my son has put a deposit on a low mileage darker blue 182 Ful Fat
52k massive specialist service history, 2 owners (current 14 years) bc coilivers, rear cage, cobra seats, carbon splitter and a Yozza amongst loads of other bits

All in all a really clean car looking forward to him collecting Wednesday and getting the 2 out on track together next week.

Had to work a rare Sunday and with a track day tomororw seemed sensible to chuck the cars in the showroom and get them both cleaned up and do a few jobs on them. The 2 do look good together

Cracking day at Brands 90 plus laps for me and a personal Best time off 1.03 my son first time out in his clio put in a 58.4 and orob did more laps than me. Great fun bedford March 20th next.

Finally sorted the off centre driving positron removed the OMP side mounts and fitted Puretrack low mounts. For so much more option for seat placement. Spot on now I'm finally happy with it

Done my first day at Bedford last Monday 20th. Didn't really go to plan. Wet drive down couple of people inc a clio we were wory span on sofgting laps. Managed a handful of laps in thr morning mate had a puncture on hos clio so ran him to tyre shop. Sun came out at lunchtime and decided to chuck the r888r on went out done 20 Min thoroughly enjoyed the track car felt good came in only to spot another bloody oil leak. So decided not to go back out hung around as my son (Clio 182) and his mate (celica)were on track ad well then take a slow drive home. My son span on his last session luckily no damage.

Cars been with Beaniesport for couple of weeks. Oil leak was annoying me and belts were due in September so thought sod it get the lot done while it was in bits had a few parts sent to MS Custom Engineering for coating. Only had 1 picture but seems to have transformed thr look of the engine bay.
Can't wait to get it back
