RB - Turini refurb - Help please!

Sorry for the essay!..

Ok, so due to the shocking conditions of the roads in my area, and a really dodgy miss-placed curb, ive managed to destroy my gorgeous cosmic grey / blue tint turinis!

my cup-packed 182 wheels had seen better days (From previous owner) so i decided they would be used for temporary wheels while I get my turinis fixed..

I sanded them down with various levels of sandpaper, primered, and sprayed them matte/satin black! had them fitted today, all ready to roll (no center caps yet)
these arent "Refurbed" just straight up sprayed, curb marks and all..

(pic taken as they were drying, hense the marks on a few spokes)

and fitted them to the car (yes, my cars filthy!)

Not going to win any awards, but gets me from A-B and dont look as rough as they did before the spray!

SO heres where you come in...

My turinis are a mess, all 4 curbed, 1 reallyyy badly gonna book them in for a repair and spray in the next couple of days!

Question is.. what colour do i get them refurbed?!

I have my heart set on red.. (borrowed the pic from Cal on saxp)

But.. im thinking clean silver or anthracite again, and then plasti-dip them red, that way, when im bored of the red (which i know i will) can peel it off and leave them looking fresh as, everyones happy

Orrr... do i just go balls in and get them sprayed red?!

Please dont say white, had white wheels before, never again!

Yeh red looks gash, who would put red wheels on a blue car...

I really like the red, but i know no one else will, hense the plasti dip idea til i get bored of it

Ive got some re-wound eibachs ready to go on, car looks mighty high as in the pics its only just been put down from being jacked up to fit the wheels

Like i said, heart set on red but asking for opinions, i LOVED the cosmic grey / blue tint, but im thinking if im gonna refurb might aswell go for a new colour!

Silver would be fresh and probably hold more re-sale value..

Go for the plasti dip option. I did the wheels on my RB in red plasti dip over the winter partly to protect them partly because I think it looks great. Possibly better once they are a bit dirty, but I did get bored of it eventually and now I have anthracite again without any hassle.

I can't help but feel silver is just boring, it's a shouty little car with a 'lairy' paint job. And I love the stripes..

Silver is way too laid back for my liking! But I know they look fresh and hold more resale value..

I had white wheels on my blue saxo, I did like them but didn't like cleaning them!

The other option is to sell them and find a new set of wheels altogether!
