RB - Wax

I know there are a few threads that cover this but hey ho!

A few people recommend R222 as a decent wax on RB. Also which Dodo Juice is best on this colour?

All Dodos look 99.9999% the same on any colour, all marketing bullshit - if you get one get one without loads of added colour it is like using T Cut Colour magic if you get a dark one !

So would that be like DoDo Juice Light Fantastic then mate.

Which one would you recommend??

Rich, is it just the coloured oils in the Dodo that you dislike so much?

The reason I ask is that when you tested Purple Haze in November last year you said the following;

Again there was hardly any difference looks wise in the two. The Onyx had slightly more gloss than the Purple Haze but this could have been down to the light on that side of the bonnet in the garage. There really was hardly anything in it.

Have you tested that other wax sample yet? Sorry I missed you at FCS.

The added colour annoys me as soon as I have done half a panel. It is not as easy to apply as any of the 3 above. I used it a few weeks ago on the GTi and ended up rewaxing the next day with Vics Concours on Blue.

Since buying the GTi by default I seem to reach for the Vics or P21s at the moment.

Good to speak to you at FCS, likewise - I popped over to the Clio Stand but could not spot you, then the others I where with where ready to go. Hoping to try it before a Pug show next weekend if the car is back from the paintshop in time.

Not owing a dark blue or black car I've yet to try Purple Haze myself, but don't find the coloured oils a problem with the ones I have tried so far.

The colour charging properties though are very slight, but on some colours it does work well. Orange Crush on Inferno comes to mind.

I grabbed a pot of the Orange Crush for a mate and he likes it on his Red Pug. We did a panel with that, a panel with He seems to like it. the OC and one with Onyx and again struggled to see any difference.
