just pick up my new key for my car..goes in tomorrow to be programmed due to i lost my keys....Renault just told me aswell that theres a recall on all clio 182 bonnet catch any one else heard this???

They recommend it be changed cause they've been proper raped over it with it appearing on watchdog etc...mine was done for free when I took it in for some reason.

because in England there are far more 172/182's driving around, the problem is very well known + spoken about.
Here in Holland i've never heard anyone about it ! :S Am going by the dealer to see if the dutch are not forgotten

I've read something about rust on the catch.. easy to see yourself ? or is it the bolts/welding where the catch is mounted to the bonnet/car ?
