Re-fitting door trim

Just got my replacement door trim (rear left), and low and behold, the bugger wont go on for some reason, it just pushes the white clips backwards under firm pressure.

Anyone else had any problems?

Need this sorted as my car has had it missing for months!

push harder where the actual clips are, should just pop on?

i know bmw's are stupid designs that you have to whack on v hard, aint tried a mk2 i dont think

One clip was bust, 60p later from Renault, sorted, cheers all.
