Re-wiring high level brake light

Hi, basically after a bit of loom chopping i found out that my high level brake light doesnt work.

Can i just connect the wires from the high level brake light to the wires of the rear left brake light. Should that work?

Hope someone can help

p.s the fueses are fine and i think the bulb is fine too.

It was when you had just re fitted the spoiler wasn't it?

Tried removing the light and giving the connector a wiggle, fixed mine when it didn't work. Read on here the connections are a bit crap anyway.

I'd just spur off the wires on the rear light, yeah, I can see no reason why it shouldn't work.
