Sounds great but when you think of the speed of RAM compared to the speed of something like a USB stick it doesn't really work that great.

They're making "readyboost" ones thought which will probably be a lot quicker. Boasts well for laptop users etc who have high demands but still want to be portable.

Still its not going to have a massive affect but i think it will work well

I use a 2gb usb pen drive with ready boost, its ok a lil bit of an improvement not really impressed though....

think it was tomshardware tested it a few weeks back iirc their coclusion there is no replacement for memory

my Vista install takes forever to boot when my external USB devices are connected, if I disconnect them it boots up fine.

meh - hit and miss then. sounded like a good idea though!
