Really want to own a vee :)

  None
I can honestly say i have never seen a vee driving on the roads so that must say something for them in terms of street appeal, ferrari's are ten a penny and even skylines aren't that hard to find these days.......
to quote Richard Hammond " while driving a V6 through monte carlo it was the ferrari and porsche drivers stopping and getting out to look at me"

That statement just about says it all :)

TBH I've still never driven or even been a passenger in a Vee. I've sat in an LY Mk2 V6 but that's all. I'd like to have a go in one at some point, even if not driving it I'd like to be a passenger to see what all the fuss is about.

^ dont bother, as ul find youself doing anything to buy one!

PSJ.

I could buy one tomorrow if I really wanted. Trouble is I haven't got space for more than one car and NOTHING will make me want to get rid of the tubby - it's far too awesome. I'd like to know what they're about though, I've always liked the looks and the uniqueness and if I could see me owning one someday just because they're already a proper classic.

PSJ followed me to drop my car of yesterday to get some recaro's fitted, and it only made him more envious - had numerous people stopping and starring a truck driver shout out the window "real car" followed by a biker giving me the thumbs up driving past still looking behind him lol - all this made PSJ even think harder of more ways how to get one.

i find it funny people complaining about expensive premiums etc when i pay a ballhair over a grand for a 1.2 :rasp:

Nail your car to 60....I bet it makes you smile, its fast, its white, its your car
Nail mine to 60....It makes me smile, Its fast, its blue and it got there a second quicker than you.

Add the bark of a V6 behind you growling like chewbacca and yes it does go quite like a supercar...or at least the experience of a supercar

It doesnt need to be doing 3.2 seconds like a Zonda hypercar

The V6 just boasts supercar status but without the supercar expenses!

i cant really think of another car you could buy for 10-15k which would drag as much attention and feel as special as a car costing 10 times that! Vee is not about being the fastest hatch out there because its a known fact that its not! but its more about owning a collectors piece which is still quick and good fun to drive.

The 200 is a great car but it wont hold its value nor its status over the vee. As soon as the next RS clio comes out the 200 will naturally become "something of the past"... the vee will never suffer that as its an exclusive car

Give me one of these for double/triple the price of your Vee anyday ;)

The vee would still turn my head much more than any RS focus could ever do.......can't comment of the feel of driving one in comparison to a supercar though cause i've never done either......wink wink nudge nudge to any vee owners in yorkshire willing to take me for a spin :)

Depends what makes a car feel special.. for me its having something you never see and turns heads like any ferrari/lambo would

Why wouldnt it feel as special as a £100k car?

You could drive around all day in a £100k merc and no one would even notice you, where as a french hatchback will always draw a croud.
