It is bad, and that is exactly what I said. When ever I haven't got people in the back, which is most of the time, my rear brakes are not good enough to pass a general safety test that all cars have to go through. But, that is what VOSA said to do, and they spoke to Renault, who confirmed that this is just how the car is set up. I can really see that excuse working when someone is killed as a result of the brakes not being good enough, and it is found it is a result of the rears not working.
