Rear brake disc's

Car  clio 172
Have been on track with clio & the rear disc's were cold compared to the front.

Think the calipers are seized!

How is best to free them up??

Thanks a lot Matt

your rear brakes hardly do anything, especially if you have a cup. is your braking efficiency good overall? providing it is and your handbrake works as it should it sounds normal

if its been lowered then the rear bias adjuster is being fooled into thinking you have pp; in the back and not applying enough pressure to the calipers , but as said if it feels ok go with it or you can adjust the rear bias valve. also if the calipers were seized your discs wouldnt be rusty and the brakes would feel shite & would overheat, you would hear them binding to .

The rear braking effort is just very low on them, low enough that they often fail on mot's and there is a vosa certificate for it. Nothing to worry about mate.

its not a saxo mate, they don't have a bias adjuster, its built into the ABS pump
