rear brakes grinding



  1.5 Clio Dynamique
as above on a 1.2 ph1

and i cant get it sorted til monday (lack of funds / time of work etc etc)

what should i do?

im atrying to keep off the brake as much as possible and using the engine to slow me down but whats everyones opinion on what i should do?

is it not rust, if youve not used it for a few days it could be that.

otherwise just keep using it as normal and get it fixed when you get chance, the rear brakes are used very very little unless you have a full car and luggage then the sensor under the car will send more fluid to the rear hubs otherwise your front discs do most of the work

take the drum off and have a look!
i neglected mine, until one day it completely seized up,
even with welly in reverse it dragged the tyre,
bad times.

the lining on the shoe might have come off, it happend to me. take the drum off see whats wrong

mine is used daily

i was just panicing as i know when you hear the fron grind then it can cut into the discs and cause more damage but i wasnt sure about the rear

my rear brakes have just fucked up dont know what it is, 2 big bangs and that was it.
